Farzaneh Badii is an Internet & Jurisdiction Project Fellow and specialized in procedural justice and online dispute resolution. She is also interested in studying nnovative payment networks and their justice systems, using a law and economics framework.She is currently finishing a PhD at the University of Hamburg’s Institute of Law and Economics that examines the institutional design of dispute management in online intermediaries with a scholarship of the German Research Foundation. She is also a fellow at the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society. Farzaneh was a visiting scholar at Syracuse University’s iSchool and conducted research at the University of St. Gallen’s Law School. Between 2011 and 2013, she was a Consultant at the United Nations’ Secretariat of the Internet Governance Forum in Geneva. Farzaneh holds a LLM in International Commercial Law from Kingston University and speaks Farsi, English and intermediate French.
